Baby animals are the best. Seriously, I don’t know what it is, but I LOVE them. Hence, the baby zebra on this baby card…
I had so much fun painting this little piece. (If you are curious, scroll down for a couple pics of my process below.)
I don’t know about you, but it seems my Instagram feed has started to FILL with photos of babies. Due to the fact that more and more of my girl friends are getting pregnant, baby showers are starting to fill my calendar. New babies are so exciting (and scary!), but it’s been a cool adventure to walk through life with new mommas, and watch them grow in strength, grace and love.
Do you have any baby showers coming up? Or know preggo/new momma friend that could use a little encouragement? If so, feel free to download my little zebra card!
I wanted to make the card gender neutral, so it could easily be used at different parties. I hope you enjoy it!
Like my last printable birthday card, I started by painting the zebra in watercolor. You can see that my first attempt at painting the zebra head was a fail. (The eyeball was huge!) So luckily, I just stepped back and was able to figure it out on my second attempt. I then scanned the painting and completed the design in photoshop.
Comment below; I would love to know what you think!
